Through Cedar Valley the way leads us to Stavros tis Psokas where you will be able to view the wild mountain sheep called Moufflon. These animals became nearly extinct and are now a protected species. The Kikko Monastery, wealthy and famous, is of great interest. Here nearby is also the tomb of Makarios III, a novice of this monastery who became the Archbishop and the first President of Cyprus. The village of Pedoulas is famous for its cherry blossom in Spring and for the church of the Archangel Michael. This church is a cultural treasure of the 15-century.
